We're Paul & LeeAnna, a husband-and-wife team. We own every home on this site, we manage them ourselves, and we're the ones who answer when you call. No front desk, no call center, no rotating cast of property managers.

Our homes sit directly on the Gulf of Mexico on Florida's Emerald Coast — in Destin and on Okaloosa Island in Fort Walton Beach, a short drive apart and both served by Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS). Same owners, same standard of care, two different kinds of trip.

Destin or Okaloosa Island?

They share the same water and the same white quartz sand, but they don't feel the same.

• Destin is the busier side — the bigger concentration of restaurants, shopping, charter fishing, and nightlife, with the harbor at the center of it.
• Okaloosa Island, just across the bridge in Fort Walton Beach, is the quieter side — the Boardwalk, the pier, and a beach that doesn't fill up the same way.

If you're not sure which side suits your trip, ask us. We stay at both.

Why book direct with the owners

• Our lowest rate is the one on this page. Airbnb and Vrbo take a commission on every booking, and we have to build it into our prices there. Booking here means you're not paying for it.
• Half now, half later. Reserve more than 30 days out with 50% down — the balance isn't charged until 30 days before you arrive. Booking inside 30 days is paid in full.
• You're talking to the owner. Questions about the home, the building, or the beach get answered by someone who has actually stayed there.
• Straight answers before you book. If a home isn't right for your group, we'll tell you — we'd rather send you to the right fit than take a booking that disappoints.
• One point of contact. The person who confirms your reservation is the person you reach during your stay.
• Professionally cleaned between every stay. Every guest walks into a freshly turned-over home.

Common questions

Is it cheaper to book here than on Airbnb or Vrbo?

Almost always, yes — and here's exactly why, because it isn't a gimmick. Both platforms charge a commission on every booking. Sometimes it's billed to us, sometimes it's added to your total at checkout, and often it's both. Either way it ends up inside the price you pay, so we have to list higher on those sites than we do here just to come out even. The same week typically runs 10–15% more on a booking platform than it does booking direct with us.

We're not asking you to take our word for it. Pull up the same home and the same dates on any booking site and compare the final total with taxes and fees included. That comparison is the whole reason this website exists.

Are these run by a property management company?

No. Paul & LeeAnna own every property on this site and manage them personally.

When do I pay?

It depends how far out you book. More than 30 days before arrival: 50% is due to reserve your dates, and we charge the balance to the same card 30 days before you arrive. Within 30 days of arrival: payment in full at the time of booking. Either way, payments are handled by Stripe.

Am I giving anything up by not booking through a platform?

You're giving up the middleman. It's the same homes and the same owners — your questions just come straight to us instead of through a platform's messaging system, and you keep the money the platform would have taken.
